These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of softgenlab.com and to any software, licenses and subscriptions you buy from Softgenlab (“we”, “us”). By making a purchase or using our website or software, you agree to these Terms.
1. Licenses and subscriptions
When you buy a plan, you receive a license key for the number of websites included in that plan (for example, 1, 5 or unlimited sites). Your license gives you access to the Pro features, plugin updates and support for as long as your subscription is active.
Subscriptions are billed yearly in US dollars and renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel, update your payment details or change plans at any time on the My licenses page. Prices may change for future renewals; we will let you know in advance.
2. Site activations
Each license may be activated on the number of live websites included in your plan. Local development and staging sites do not count towards this limit. Activations are tied to the website on which they are made and are not transferable between live websites, except at our discretion. Sharing, reselling or publishing your license key is not allowed.
3. The software
Our WordPress plugins are released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later, and nothing in these Terms limits your rights under that license. Your license key and subscription give you access to our paid services: automatic updates, support and license activation. Our name, logo and brand are not covered by the GPL and may not be used without permission.
4. If your subscription ends
If your subscription is cancelled, expires or a payment fails and is not resolved, license-based features stop working, you will no longer receive updates or support, and you may not be able to create new items that depend on an active license. We will never lock you out of removing access you have already given to others.
5. Refunds
All sales are final. Please see our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our website or software for anything unlawful, not to attempt to interfere with our license or update systems, and not to use our products to gain unauthorized access to any website or system.
7. Support
Support is provided by email on a best-effort basis during your active subscription. It covers installing and using our products, and does not include custom development or problems caused by other plugins, themes or hosting.
8. Your responsibility
You are responsible for your website, for keeping backups, and for choosing appropriate permissions when giving others access to your site. Please test our products on a staging site before using them on an important live site.
9. Disclaimer
Our software and services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will prevent every security issue.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Softgenlab will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Suspension
We may suspend or cancel a license if these Terms are broken, if a payment is disputed or reversed, or if a license is used fraudulently.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, and continuing to use our products after changes means you accept them.
